drsteve-aboutDr. Steve Clouthier graduated from New York Chiropractic College, and he is Board Certified in the State of Texas and New York. In addition, he is nationally Board Certified on Parts I – IV. Dr. Clouthier’s certifications include Neuroemotional Technique (NET), Nutrition Response Testing (NRT), Neuromodulation Technique (NMT), Cranio-Sacral Therapy I, Active Release Technique (ART). He continues to regularly attend continuing education seminars in order to keep current with the continuously evolving profession of chiropractic and holistic care.

drsteve-tri-aboutDr. Clouthier aspires to help people regain and rebuild their health through safe, comprehensive procedures and lifestyle changes thus allowing them to achieve peak performance and health levels. Dr. Clouthier himself has maintained an active lifestyle since he was young. He played collegiate volleyball and since January 2011, he has raced three full marathons, five half marathons, numerous olympic and sprint distance triathlons, one half Ironman distance and two Ironman distance races. Ironman Texas and Ironman Cozumel in 2012 are two major accomplishments he is very proud of in his athletic career. Dr. Clouthier enjoys combining his background in sports chiropractic, injury rehabilitation, and nutrition along with a holistic approach, which allows him to uncover root causes for many acute and chronic problems rather than passively mask symptoms. His mission has been to provide a nurturing and educational environment for the family and individual, where health and wellness are emphasized and healing, personal growth, and self-empowerment are fostered. In doing so, he is able to provide his patients with a more functional and active role in achieving healing and/or optimal wellness. He is also USA Triathlon Level I Coaching Certified and will be completing his USAT Level II Coaching Certification in 2014. He currently coaches triathletes and runners for Finish Strong Coaching.

Coach-USAT-LOGODr. Clouthier enjoys combining his background in Applied Kinesiology and Clinical Nutrition to help patients and families heal and balance their lives.  Dr. Clouthier has been practicing for 17 years in The Woodlands Texas and has had the pleasure of working with many amazing people ranging from newborn babies, 90 year old grandmothers, and prominent athletes in the Houston area and The Woodlands. He works with entire families and with numerous triathletes, endurance runners, dancers, and athletes of all levels from pro to weekend warrior. He employs his extensive background in anatomy and physiology, exercise sciences of various types and nutrition to treat all from a comprehensive and holistic approach.

In his free time Dr. Clouthier enjoys training for Ironman, reading about natural health, teaching, coaching, enjoying music, volleyball, sports, and spending quality time with his family.  He is a long-time resident of The Woodlands and enjoys spending free time with his three children.
