Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress.
NET allows me nearly unlimited ability to address the physical and behavioral stress-related conditions of patients. These conditions include headaches, body pains, phobias, general anxiety, self-sabotaging behaviors, organ dysfunctions and so much more. It’s important to note that NET does not cure or heal you, but rather, NET removes blocks to the natural vitalism of the body, “allowing” your body to repair itself naturally. It can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.
Body-related manifestations of stress include all kinds of conditions, such as chronic and acute physical symptoms, pain of all types, organ dysfunctions, neurological problems, musculoskeletal and immunological conditions, allergies and much more. Mind-related manifestations of stress include conditions associated with phobias, depression, anxieties, ADD / ADHD, nightmares, disruptive behavior, public speaking fears; emotionally engendered cognitive distortions and many other problems.
NET is based on the physiological foundations of stress-related responses. As discovered in the late 1970s, emotional responses are composed of neuropeptides (amino acid chains) and their receptors, which lie on neurons and other cells of remote tissues in the body. The neuropeptides are ejected from the neuron and carry the encoded “information” to other sites within the body. These neuropeptides are in a category of neurochemicals known as Information Substances (IS). ISs are released at times of stress-related arousal and become attached to remotely-positioned neuroreceptors. Significantly, this process also happens when a person recalls to memory an event in which a stress originally occurred. This is a key factor in the NET treatment.
The primary goal of NET is to resolve mind-body stress either via active subluxation patterns (a spinal correction) or active pulse points (meridian therapy) that are found through a method of advanced diagnosis. NET practitioners find (diagnose) the origins of unresolved mind-body stress using Semantic Response and observations of change in the Manual Muscle Test. The treatment process includes having the patient connect with his “feelings” around a stress-related issue (the memory/physiological dynamic) while a spinal or pulse point correction is made to allow the body to extinguish the unresolved stress response.
